How to play

  • Pick a card, then pick the card that's equal to it. A match stays matched.
  • Pick two that aren't equal and it counts as a miss. Both are written as decimals so you can see which is bigger.
  • Stuck? A hint picks a card for you and outlines its partner.
  • Clear the board with as few misses as you can. The clock is there if you want to race it.

Levels

  • Easy: a bar picture and its fraction, from halves to eighths. Count the shaded parts and the total parts.
  • Medium: equivalent fractions such as 3/4 and 6/8, bars split into more parts, and decimals.
  • Hard: fractions above 1 as mixed numbers (7/4 is 1 3/4), decimals and percents.

Why these are equal

Multiplying the top and bottom of a fraction by the same number doesn't change its value: 3/4 = 6/8 = 9/12. Dividing the top by the bottom gives the decimal (3 ÷ 4 = 0.75), and multiplying the decimal by 100 gives the percent (75%).
