Your calculator inputs

Calculations run in your browser. The numbers, dates, and other values you type into a calculator are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us.

Some calculators offer a “Copy link” button that puts your current inputs into the page address so you can share them. This only happens when you choose it, and it is turned off for calculators that use personal details such as a date of birth, height, or weight.

What we keep in your browser

To remember your favourite calculators, the last few calculators you used, and your light or dark theme choice, Calcapedia saves a small amount of information in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device: it is not sent to us, and there is no account.

• Favourites and recently used: only the names of the calculators (for example, “bmi”). Never the numbers or other values you entered, and never your results. A calculator is added to your recent list when you use it, not when you just open the page, and the list keeps the last 8.
• Theme: “light” or “dark” if you picked one in the header. If you leave it on System, nothing is saved.

You can clear your favourites and recent calculators with the “Clear” link next to them, clear everything with the button below, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical information when pages are requested — such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested — to operate and secure the service.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Calcapedia does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, and no analytics service is connected. If that changes, this policy will be updated before they are introduced, and where required by law we will ask for your consent first. Any future usage statistics are designed never to include the values you type, your results or your search words. See our advertising disclosure.
